Talbot Consultants International Inc. was initially retained to facilitate the entry of Price Club into Canada. As a result we completed re-zoning and impact studies for a large number of proposed Ontario sites for this high profile Power Anchor. Our studies formed the foundation for their various re-zoning applications and for the resultant OMB hearings. All studies involved an extremely detailed analysis of food retailing within a thirty minute drive time of the proposed sites. Later we were retained to complete a similar network strategy and site selection programme for Price Club to enter the Western Canadian Market. Also, in an unrelated project, we were retained to assist a client in establishing an "out-sourced" refrigerated products "Just-In-Time" distribution system for Price Club's eastern Canadian outlets.
